Palle is a great fan of Formula One racing and have always loved when Renault participated as they did in 1977 with this Turbo charged car :
But the best seasons in Formula One where the years when Nigel Mansell drove the Williams FW14 with the very powerfull Renault V10 engine :
In 2002 Renault is back in Formula One again with their own team which I find very exiting and I look forward to see the results Renault will deliver. After the first two races of the 2002 season a fourth place have been achieved by Jenson Button who is driving the new R202 on this picture :

Jarno Trulli ended at position 8 with 9 points
Jenson Button ended at position 7 with 14 points

In the 2003 season it seems that Renault will do even better last year. With a 1-2 start position in Malaysia and a podium ( third position) finish for Fernando Alonso and a fifth place for Trulli. this means that both Renaults have scored points in the first 2 grand prix.

This was a very good season for Renault with Fernando Alonso taking the first GP win at Hungarion ring. Beside that Alonso had a second place , two third and three fourth positions during 2003.
2004 Season :

Jarno Trulli ended at position 6 with 46 points
Fernando Alonso ended at position 4 with 59 points
Team Principal : Flavio Briatore
Constructors : 3 place with 105 points
This was again a very good season for Renault with Jarno Trulli taking the GP win in Monaco. Beside that Alonso had a second place , three third and four fourth positions during 2004.

2005 Season :

Giancarlo Fisichella ended at position 5 with 58 points
Fernando Alonso became world champion with 133 points
Team Principal : Flavio Briatore
Constructors : World Champion with 191 points
This was the very best season for the Renault F1 team with Giancarlo Fisichella taking the win in Australia and securing points in 11 GP's. Fernando Alonso took 7 GP wins and secured points in all but 2 races and the US farce. A very very strong performance from Fernando and the whole Renault F1 team.
